For its return to Comic-Con this year, the Cinetransformer features RealD 3D technology.
The Cinetransformer factory designed and manufactured a unique mounting system, seamlessly integrating the large 200 pound Digital Cinema Projector into the ceiling of the mobile theater.
Cinetransformer provided a first class 3D cinema experience at Petco Park in San Diego, where excited fans, studio executives, talent and press were treated to a pre-release party filled with food, drinks, games and a live DJ. The highlight of the event is a sneak preview of the movie's bridge scene, an amazingly choreographed stereoscopic sequence in FD5, which created a buzz all over Comic-Con.
For each showing during the event, 91 attendees at a time walk into the Cinetransformer, don their RealD 3D glasses and witness onscreen how a group of coworkers frantically try to find a way to "escape death's sinister agenda", but realize through the terrifying action packed scenes, that death cannot be escaped. Both loyal fans and newbies who enjoyed the viewing leave excited, curious and eager for the upcoming release date of the motion picture.
With hundreds of guests in attendance, the complete cast of FD5 was present for the entire event, answering questions and socializing with the press and fans alike. |
